Arrigetch Peaks Arctic Expedition

The Arrigetch Peaks, meaning ‘Fingers of an outstretched hand’ in Inupiat, are composed of jagged granite spires that lead your eyes to wander towards the heavens. Ancient glaciers, steep rock faces, unpredictable weather, and extremely remote this area is not for the inexperienced. We will spend 8 days in the wilderness hiking and exploring.

Backpack Alaska is a woman-owned and locally-operated adventure travel company in Alaska. We curate specialized small-group trips for beginners, advanced adventurers, and everywhere in between so that we can share magic of the Alaskan backcountry in an intimate setting.

Our trips focus on fly-in backpacking and basecamp adventuring. We also offer custom trips and adventures specifically built for women’s needs and backcountry skills training.
